If students withdraw before the course start date, we will charge the $40 administration fee. Once the course has started, we will *not* be issuing a credit for any withdrawals. You can allow a substitute from another school if you wish. This will ensure that we have the class list as accurate as possible and run a class based on sufficient numbers to cover costs. Also, as a courtesy to the instructors, pls have your registrations in at least 1 week before the course start date for their planning.

The following refund policy and deadlines apply. If notice of a student's withdrawal from a course is received:
* At least 21 days before the course start date, the registrant will receive a full refund

experts. Programs offered online can be taken from anywhere with a

computer and reliable Internet connection.

Who should take this program?

If you are a new or aspiring teacher looking for immediate classroom

field with confidence.

For those wanting to gain a more in-depth understanding of language

theory and expand upon practical classroom skills, take the four

required courses from TSL Level 1 plus four additional intermediate

courses. This will provide 250 hours of comprehensive study for those

wanting to proceed to the next level of competencies in the TSL field.

Timeline

Students who take one or two courses per session can complete the

Level 1 certifi cate in either specialization in one to one-and-a-half

years, and Level 2 in approximately two to three years.

Admission

Prerequisites are not required for acceptance to these certificate programs.

However, it is important to note that some teaching positions

in Canada and abroad will require a degree.
Students who have not taken online courses through U of C Continuing
